syne.studio makes extensive use of mouse capture to improve interactions like knob fiddling and mouse panning. Most browsers show a popup when we capture the mouse as a security feature. However, this popup can be distracting and in some browsers even overlaps page content.

• Firefox: navigate to about:config and set pointer-lock-api.warning.timeout to 0.
• Chrome: there doesn't appear to be a way to disable the popup, but it at least doesn't overlap the page.

The upcoming syne.studio desktop application will use chromium for the best possible performance, and will not have the popup. Stay tuned!
